TWO CASES OF THORACIC SPINAL CANAL STENOSIS

Abstract
Sp nal stenosis is compression of spinal cord or nerve root< by thickening of posterior spinal elements. Tit e authors have treated two cases of thoracicmyelopathy associated with thoracic spinal stenosis. Thoracic spinal stenosis was best diagnosed by myelography and computerized tomographic scan. Treatment consisted of extensive posterior laminectomy and facetectomy, and the results of two cases were slightly improved.
Thoracic spinal stenosis should be considered in any patient who has a thoracic myelopathy.
